This policy explains what DPS Udyog does with the information you send through this website. It is written to be read, not to be waded through.
Who we are
DPS Udyog manufactures precision stainless steel components for original equipment manufacturers and export buyers. We have been manufacturing in Faridabad, Haryana, India since 2006. We are the controller of the information described here.

What this policy covers
This website, and enquiries you send us by email or telephone. Commercial and technical information exchanged with a customer under a separate agreement is governed by that agreement.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send. When you write to us or telephone us, that is typically your name, your company, your contact details, the annual volume you expect, and a description of the part you need. This website itself collects nothing from you.
Our web server also records ordinary technical information with each visit, including the IP address, the browser and device type, and the pages viewed.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry.
- To judge whether the part fits our capability.
- To prepare a quotation and a lead time.
- To keep a record of the commercial discussion.
We do not use it for marketing lists and we do not profile you.
Our lawful basis
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on Article 6(1)(b), because the processing is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract. Where an enquiry does not lead towards a contract, we rely on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us.
We do not ask for consent as the basis for handling an enquiry, because consent is not the right basis for answering a message you chose to send us.
Engineering drawings and technical information
Drawings, specifications and samples you send us are commercially confidential. They are used to quote and to manufacture your part, and for nothing else. A part made against your drawing is not offered, quoted or supplied to any other buyer.

A practical note. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. At first contact, describe the part in general terms. Send the actual drawing afterwards, by a route we agree with you, and we are glad to sign your non-disclosure agreement before you do.
Who else sees it
Our web host and our email provider handle the information in the course of delivering those services. Where a manufacturing operation runs through one of our associate facilities, only what that operation needs is shared, under the same duty of confidentiality.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it goes
Your information is processed in India. India does not currently hold an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
For enquiries from the European Union, the transfer is made under Article 49(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, being a transfer necessary for steps taken at your own request before entering into a contract.
How long we keep it
An enquiry is kept while the commercial conversation is live. An enquiry that does not lead to an order is deleted within twenty four months. Where an order follows, records are kept for as long as the law requires business records to be kept.
You may ask us to delete an enquiry sooner.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people handling your enquiry. The site is served over an encrypted connection. Drawings are held on controlled storage.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, which is the reason for the practical note above.
Your rights
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to our use of it.
You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
Indian law gives comparable rights, and further rights commence as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is brought into force in stages. This policy is written to align with that Act, and will be updated as its provisions commence.

Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. It does not track you across other websites.
Our typefaces are served from our own server rather than from a third party, so loading a page here does not pass your IP address to a font provider.
If measurement is added in future, this policy will be updated to name the service and describe what it records, and a proper consent choice will be offered before it is switched on.
Automated decisions
We make no automated decisions about you and we carry out no profiling.
Children
This site is addressed to businesses. It is not intended for anyone under eighteen and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
