Why we build in stainless steel.
Most items are made from mild steel, which corrodes over the years. A mild steel part can leave the works looking right and still lose its finish, its fit and its strength in service. Stainless steel holds all three, which is why every part we make starts from it, in grade SS304. Read how the works grew from one lathe to this.

We make parts for specific items dedicated to specific buyers. A part made against your drawing is not offered to anyone else, not even a single piece. This is not a clause we negotiate at the start of an order. It is simply how we practise, and it holds for as long as we are making the part. It is set out in full in our confidentiality of drawings policy.
